Cicibela food and wine bar (SPLIT)

Must try orange wine as it is a local taste. Prosciutto was really good! Mussels fettuccine is awesome excellent. I should have the tiramisu, the panna cotta was okay. The Forest fruit topping was sour. Mario our server was very friendly and informative.

Amazing food! The house white wine with the sea bass and black risotto had amazing flavor. The tiramisu with complimentary sherry was the end to a perfect dining experience. Would definitely highly recommend eating here while in Split. We hope to visit again soon!

An amazing find right outside the busy Split city centre. Tasty local dishes with fresh ingredients in a charming outside sitting. We had the black risotto with cuttlefish and the Pašticada with the tuna steak, paired with their house pošip wine. The dishes were both incredibly tasty and well served, so simple but yet so perfectly made. Highly recommend it!

It is a lovely place, you can tell a lot of thought and effort went into it, but unfortunately I think was expecting to be blown away by the food, given the great reviews. We went there for dinner and had the tuna steak - the tuna was really well made, fresh, but I found the pepper sauce didn’t go so well with it, the flavour was a bit overpowering; and stone bass - the fish had no seasoning other than salt and lots of oil, the potato salad was blant and cold. Everting was pleasant, correct, but nothing that would really stand out.

Atmospheric narrow street seating by the stone old town buildings. Tables well appointed and good supply of olive oil, balsamic vinagre, salt/pepper. Plates presentation is pleasant to the eye, appetising, right portion size and well prepared/seasoned. Offering of a statement G&T and good wines too. Pleasurable experience, to be recommended indeed.

Cicibela Food and Wine Bar have 5 cute tables outside, same inside. Very friendly staff which will explain anything you need the service was great the waiter was always around if you needed anything and happy to answer questions about the menu and local drinks aswell as areas. Prices are extremely fair as the food is fresh cooked and extremely tasty ! We will definitely be back when we next visit probably one of the best restaurants in split ! The area the restaurants is in is also quaint and quite away from the very busy town center! Perfect for a romantic meal or a quick bite to eat ! They give free local shots after meal. Definitely recommend 12 out if 10 !!!!!

We had the most wonderful experience at Cicibela Food and Wine Bar in Split! We shared six different meals, and every single dish was absolutely delicious. We asked for a wine recommendation, and it turned out to be the best light wine we’ve ever tasted – unforgettable! The service made the evening even more special. Our waiter Matko was incredibly polite, funny, and helpful, creating such a warm atmosphere that we didn’t want to leave. He even took the time to teach my friend how to properly hold a wine bottle, and we all laughed together – such a personal touch that made the night so memorable. We are definitely coming back. Thank you, Cicibela, for such a perfect evening of food, wine, and genuine hospitality!

I have nothing negative to say about my experience at Cicibela. This was my favourite place to eat in Split. The food felt unpretentious and authentic, but full of deep, rich flavour and refinement. The atmosphere was also fantastic, helped by the great wait staff. We had Mario who was really friendly and attentive. I recommend trying the Buzara. Beautiful!
